Dubai - MENA Herald:

Bayt.com, the Middle East’s #1 job site, announced today that it has had a great first quarter, with increases in online activity, job seeker registrations, job postings, and number of CV searches undertaken on the website. Today, over 40,000 of the regions' leading companies and organizations have been using this job site for their recruitment needs. At the same time, Bayt.com’s database has grown to more than 36,000,000 registered jobseekers, making it the largest and fastest growing job site in the region. Based on these figures, more than 50% of the Middle East and North Africa’s online labor force now have a Bayt.com account.

“At Bayt.com, we are determined to achieve our mission of empowering people with the tools and knowledge to build their lifestyle of choice,” said Omar Tahboub, General Manager, Bayt.com. “It is an honor for us to be trusted by so many people with their career journey, and we look forward to continue on our mission of connecting between professionals and opportunities.”

This success has been coupled with further strides in Bayt.com’s regional job count. Bayt.com reported that it has announced over 116,000 job in Q1 2019, which averages at 38,897 jobs per month. The UAE and Saudi Arabia contributed to the largest share of job postings in 2019 so far.  At the same time, the number of CV Searches conducted by employers has also increased. The number of CV Searches on Bayt.com has increased by 10% from Q1 2018, with close to a million CV searches performed by employers in the first quarter of 2019 alone.

Tahboub adds: “A large part of this success came as a result of our belief in the power of technology and people’s growing trust in us and our solutions. We have heavily incorporated AI-powered tools in almost all of our products and solutions to ensure that all employers in the MENA region have access to state-of-the-art technologies that can help them hire better, and hire smartly. Last year was a milestone-heavy year for us, we launched a series of new Artificial Intelligence powered features designed to match talent with opportunity in a much more powerful and efficient manner. We added meaning ontology to our CV search technology, through which our software can actually understand the meaning of words and differentiate them from one another and thus predict more accurate searches. Another example worth mentioning is Evalufy, a video assessment platform that helps organizations make better and faster decisions on candidates by evaluating them via video and text responses. This new platform is jam-packed with AI-powered tools that automatically interpret the candidate’s emotions, preparedness level, and attentiveness, among other factors that can aid employers in making the hiring decision.”
