Al Hilal Bank advocates support for Emiratis at National Service Career Fair

Al Hilal Bank has announced its forthcoming participation in the National Service Career Fair, taking place from 25th to 27th March 2018 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), Hall 02 -04, held under the patronage of Major General Sheikh Saeed bin Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Commander of the UAE Naval Forces.

The event is being held in line with directives of the wise leadership of H.H. Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, UAE Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, H.H. Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and the Supreme Council Members, the Rulers of the Emirates and with the support of the General Command of the UAE Armed Forces.

Now in its third edition, the National Service Career Fair aims to increase Emiratisation across various economic sectors in the UAE by encouraging National Service graduates to learn more about their career options.  

Al Hilal Bank’s CSR plans are aligned with the UAE’s aspirations for economic and social progress, and it intends to maintain its pioneering commitment to supporting UAE Vision 2021, the Abu Dhabi Economic Vision 2030, and the government’s plans and strategies for the future.

Alex Coelho, Al Hilal Bank CEO, said: “This is the first time that Al Hilal Bank has participated in this type of career fair and we are very proud to be part of this prestigious event. Our participation is part of the bank’s on-going support for UAE Nationals. We will continue to be on the lookout for young Emirati talent and nurture them so that they can embark on a successful career in banking. Sultan Al Mahmood, Senior Managing Director and Chief Human Resources Officer at Al Hilal Bank commented: “Our presence at the event will create channels of communication between graduates of the UAE National Service program and Al Hilal Bank. We are fully committed to supporting Emirati nationals who are the foundation of our country's progress and human capital wealth.

Al Hilal Bank’s ongoing contributions to Emiratisation include their Ruwwad Al Hilal Program, targeting UAE Graduates holding Bachelor Degrees in majors like Finance, Accounting, Marketing, Business and IT. The program promises on-the-job training, technical development, leadership development and job placement in the trained business field on completion.
