University of Dubai grants 50% scholarship to outstanding undergraduate students from all nationalities

Dubai - MENA Herald: University of Dubai has announced a unique scholarship plan offering 50% discount on tuition fees for undergraduate courses to outstanding national and international students scoring 90% and above in their high schools.

Announcing the scheme during an academic meeting at the University of Dubai, Dr. Eesa M. Bastaki, President of the University, said: “In pursuit of quality and as part of our efforts to transform Dubai as the hub of international education, UD is granting 50% discount on its tuition fees to national and international students who will be an added value to quality education in UAE.”

During the meeting attended by Deans of Business, IT and Law faculties, Dr. Bastaki said the scheme is unique because it is open to all undergraduate students from local and international levels and does not limit the number of outstanding students who can benefit from the scholarship. He said: “When it comes to bright students, we all should pitch in to grant them the opportunity to learn and succeed.”

The scholarship offers 50% discount on tuition fees to all undergraduate students who maintain a cumulative CGPA of 3.6 or above during their full-time study at University of Dubai. The plan will include also all transfer and international students who are admitted to UD in a record number.
