Noor Bank Welcomes Students from Paris Dauphine University

Noor Bank, the UAE’s leading Shari’ah-compliant bank, hosted an informative session on Islamic banking, insurance and capital markets for 16 students pursuing their Executive MBA at Paris Dauphine University in France that visited the UAE as part of the university’s Islamic Finance Academic Roadshow.

The visit served as an opportunity to showcase Noor Bank’s innovative solutions and outstanding customer experiences.

Kicking off the programme, Zakaria Karkouri, Head of Structured Products and Derivatives, provided an overview of Noor Bank’s products and services under corporate banking, retail banking as well as treasury. Meanwhile, Muhammad Ba’alawy, Assistant Vice President for Investment Solutions, and Soufiane Ezzeyadi, Assistant Vice President of Structured Products and Derivatives, delivered a presentation on the capabilities of the Treasury Department. In the final talk, Dr Adnan Aziz, Head of Shar’iah, explained the investment process Islamic banks follow and the basic rules of Shari’ah compliance. During the lively Q&A session, the students asked questions about Islamic finance as well as Noor Bank's strategy and the prevailing industry challenges.
