Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE) Ltd. announced today that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Emirates Aviation University (EAU) to jointly develop cooperative learning opportunities and work experience programs for EAU students.  Also, as part of the cooperation agreement, DAE will participate in guest speaker opportunities at the University to further facilitate student learning and will support the University at conferences and career fairs.

The MoU was signed by Mr. Khalifa AlDaboos, Managing Director of DAE and Prof. Dr. Ahmad Al Ali, Vice Chancellor of EAU at the University in Academic City, Dubai.

Commenting on the event, Mr. AlDaboos said: “The signing of the MoU today represents a meaningful commitment on the part of both DAE and EAU to work closely together to offer an even wider range of relevant opportunities to students here in the UAE, allowing them to further develop skillsets needed in today’s rapidly changing and competitive aviation industry. We hope DAE’s support of the objectives of the University will encourage students to choose an aviation-focused academic path, leading to a win-win situation for EAU students, the University and the wider aviation industry. “

Professor Dr. Ahmad Al Ali said: “Dubai is one of the fastest-growing aviation and aerospace markets in the world, which is the impetus for us to keep investing in the development of talent at Emirates Aviation University to further support the industry’s growth. The agreement between EAU and Dubai Aerospace Enterprise will act as a strong platform for our students to exchange knowledge and best practices, allowing them to develop their skillset and encourage career growth. We are excited to see this initiative progress and we look forward to building a constructive partnership.”

DAE has already placed its first EAU student, a Bachelors in Aeronautical Engineering graduate, in an internship program in its leasing commercial support team in Dubai.
