The new 2017 Toyota Corolla challenges expectations and redefines sophistication

Dubai - MENA Herald: Building on 50 years of successful history, the new 2017 Toyota Corolla has been officially launched by Al-Futtaim Motors, leader in sustainability mobility and exclusive distributor of Toyota in the UAE.
The bestselling and all-time favorite car has sold over 43 million units around the world since inception in 1966. In the UAE, over 200,000 Corollas have been sold since introduction in 1975, leaving an unforgettable mark into the country’s mobility scene.
The new 2017 Corolla reflects a more dynamic and sophisticated design while boasting a premium interior and advanced safety systems, which now include Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), rear fog lights and Tyre Pressure Warning System (TPWS) and come as standard across the full Corolla range.

The 2017 Corolla retains the same modern and efficient engine choices, 1.6L and 2.0L each coming in three different grades. Thanks to the new multi-drive 7s transmission, the car now enjoys new levels of quietness and fuel efficiency, in line with its commitment to combining great fuel economy with driving pleasure in the compact sedan segment.

The 2017 Toyota Corolla continues being accessible to a large customer base in the UAE through its competitive pricing while offering the best value for money thanks to its unbeatable low total cost of ownership, and impressive fuel consumption of 18.1 KM/L on the 1.6L engine and 16.5 KM/L on the 2.0L engine.

A total of three grades are available on the 1.6L engine, for the Corolla SE which offers beside the new safety features, cruise control function, wireless door lock, LED rear combination lamp, dual front airbags, audio CD/AUX/USB/BT with 4 speakers and steering wheel control for Audio/Telephone, in addition to 15” steel wheels.
Moving one grade up, in addition to all the SE features, the Corolla SE+ features rear parking sensors and replaces the regular wheels with 15” alloy wheels.
As for the 1.6L Limited grade, it comes with 16” alloy wheels, leather-trimmed steering wheel, Smart Entry & Push Start Button, Optitron speedometer with TFT display, rear seats 60:40 split folding, 6 audio speakers and steering wheel control for Audio/Tel/MID. This grade also enjoys door mirrors folding, chrome door handles in addition to front fog lamps for added safety.
The 2.0L SE grade enjoys the same features as its equivalent on the 1.6L but features a 6 speaker audio and 15’’ alloy wheels instead.

As for the 2.0L SE+ grade, it comes with 16” alloy wheels, leather-trimmed steering wheel, Smart Entry & Push Start Button, Optitron speedometer with TFT display, rear seats 60:40 split folding, 6 audio speakers and steering wheel control for Audio/Tel/MID. This grade also enjoys door mirrors folding, chrome door handles in addition to front fog lamps.
The 2.0L Limited enjoys all the SE+ features but additionally sees Daytime Running Lights (DRL), LED headlights, auto headlight leveling, sunroof, and auto Air Conditioning rounding up the package.
