Dubai - MENA Herald: At a ceremony held in the UK Global Head Quarters, luxury automotive manufacturer, Jaguar Land Rover Middle East and North Africa, scooped up two of the top accolades at the Jaguar Land Rover Global Technician of the Year 2016 Awards.
Demonstrating Jaguar Land Rover’s customer first approach and commitment to continuously raising standards, Jaguar Land Rover MENA claimed the overall title as ‘Global Technician of the Year 2016 Top Scoring Market’ while Jinto Thomas from Al Tayer Motors in the UAE walked away as the winner of the ‘Land Rover Global Technician of the Year 2016’ award. Thomas had previously won the regional ‘Middle East and North Africa Land Rover Technician of the Year’ award in 2015.
Named the ‘Jaguar Middle East and North Africa Technician of the Year’ in 2015, Koudi Kamal from SMEIA in Morocco saw his continued strong performance recognized once again when he became this year’s ‘First Runner Up’ in the race to be the ‘Jaguar Global Technician of the Year 2016’.
Rob Preston, Customer Service Director at Jaguar Land Rover MENA, said: “This is a phenomenal achievement for our Jaguar Land Rover Middle East and North Africa network. These results clearly demonstrate our investment to increase competency levels and dedication towards improved service excellence and overall customer experience. Having the Middle East and North Africa market and top performers recognised among the company’s highest ranking global players is testament to the talented pool of individuals who drive the business forward every day across the region.”

The Technician of the Year platform has helped us demonstrate the dedication to excellence which lies at the heart of our Jaguar Land Rover team’s efforts to create first-class experiences for our customers.”
With a dedicated Regional Training Academy which launched in Dubai in 2014, Jaguar Land Rover is designed to deliver training programmes to retailers and staff across the Middle East and North Africa network, replicating the in-depth training offered by its UK-based Academy.
